Jorge is a Los Angeles-based actor who's received critical acclaim for his wide ranging and diverse characters in both dramatic and comedic productions in regional theatre. 

He was recently cast as Dr. Aster in Life Sucks, Aaron Posner's modern take on Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, in which the cast collaborated with Aaron to give each character a post-pandemic update.


Jorge has had recurring roles in BYUtv's hit fantasy, comedy, adventure series Dwight in Shining Armor, and Days of Our Lives.

Jorge has been directed for television by acclaimed screenwriter and producer Ted Griffin, and James Larkin, long time director of British film, television and stage.

​For his very first role on the stage, Jorge played Don John in the Shakespeare classic Much Ado About Nothing in the summer of 2012. Between then and 2015, he was cast in 15 different productions in the regional theatre circuit. Of these, he originated roles in five World Premiers produced at La Jolla Playhouse and San Diego Rep. These include:
 
"SIDEWAYS"
 A box-office hit based on the novel that inspired the Oscar-winning film. Directed by multiple Tony Award Winner Des McAnuff.
 
"EL HENRY"
A nationally-recognized adaptation of Shakespeare's "Henry IV". Written by Culture Clash's co-founder Herbert Siguenza. Directed by Sam Woodhouse (Producer of the eventual Tony Award Nominated Musical, "It Aint Nothing But The Blues.")
 
In addition to his work on the stage, Jorge has helped develop characters in dozens of plays with acclaimed directors and playwrights in workshop settings. Many of these have led to high profile productions:
 
"DAPHNE'S DIVE" by Quiara Alegría-Hudes.
Debuted Off-Broadway in May of 2016 - Character: Pablo.
 
"INTO THE BEAUTIFUL NORTH" by Karen Zacarías.
Debuted April 2017 at San Diego Rep - Characters: Atómico and Johnny Depp (Also played by Jorge on the stage)
 
"THE SWEETHEART DEAL" by Diane Rodriguez.
Debuted in 2017 at Los Angeles Theatre Center - Character: Mac.
 
"SEA OF SOULS" by Claudio Raygoza.
Debuted Off-Broadway in July of 2015 - Character: Sheriff Roy.

Jorge has been cast in other theatrical productions that include works by modern playwrights, such as: Neil LaBute, Jose Rivera, Luis Alfaro, Martin Zimmerman, Elizabeth Irwin, Liz Duffy Adams, Karen Zacarías and Aaron Posner.

Jorge's career in the stage was inspired by the personal advice given by world renowned master teacher Larry Moss, whom Jorge studied with for four years.
 
Years of collaborating with so many prolific playwrights have led to his own writing. Jorge is currently writing both screen and stage-plays.
 
He's been cast in over 40 commercials. These include national campaigns for Walmart and Cricket. He was also the Spanish spokesperson for Celino and Barnes, and the spokesperson for The Barnes Firm in both English and Spanish.
